A Special Invitation from Thomas Hübl

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce that for the first time we will offer a special 5-month immersive program for our community called The Ancestral Healing Journey.

This is especially relevant now because often the causes of trauma in the present reside in our past.

When trauma is ignored, it becomes frozen and resides in our individual and collective fields. Then it is passed from generation to generation until eventually it gets re-triggered and trauma symptoms reemerge.

Underlying many of the collective traumas we are currently experiencing is an element of ancestral trauma that has been reactivated — we see this with wars and conflicts; the refugee crisis; mass shootings; and our response to the climate crisis.

Our work is to come together to liquify the frozen trauma so that it can be acknowledged, understood, and integrated.

Here is an overview of the 10 live sessions in the all-new curriculum:

Session 1: Creating an Ancestral Healing Framework

Session 2: Ancestral Healing Skills and Competency Building

Session 3: Feeling and Revitalizing Your Deepest Roots

Session 4: Moving Toward Resourcing, Restoration, and Rewiring

Session 5: Real Embodiment in Relation to the Collective Environment

Session 6: Mapping Your Individual, Ancestral, and Collective Trauma

Session 7: Working to Disentangle Ancestral Lineages

Session 8: Ancestral and Collective Trauma Transmission

Session 9: Honoring and Transcending Our Ancestors’ Trauma

Session 10: Facilitating Ancestral Trauma Healing and an Ethics of the Future

This course will be experiential in nature and we will move through many practices and processes as a group to expand our capacities and competencies for healing. The goal is to become a living embodiment of what we learn and to apply it within our work, relationships, and daily life.

During our live sessions we will engage in real-time process work, where we’ll model what it means to participate in a healing community.

As we work together, we’ll start to see that when we go back far enough, all of our lineages connect, and the trauma we hold is shared. When we do this work we help ourselves, our families, and the collective consciousness of humanity.

If this speaks to you, we hope you will join us.

In appreciation,

Thomas Hübl

Founder, The Academy of Inner Science

P.S. We offer this type of online immersion program only once per year. Being together for 5 months allows us enough time and space for deeper work. Our previous courses have brought together people who feel called to be of service in these times, including therapists, coaches, consultants, organizational leaders, educators, medical professionals, alternative healing practitioners, and others.

“Thomas Hübl’s exploration of collective trauma strikes at a core issue confronting our modern civilization.”

— Dr. Gabor Maté, author, the myth of normal

What is The Ancestral Healing Journey?

Ancestral healing is the deep inquiry into the unfinished and unintegrated aspects of our ancestors’ lives that they turned away from, or simply couldn’t process, and then handed over to us.

In our upcoming course we will explore some of the following questions:

Ancestral healing means developing the capacity to resolve the unfinished business from our ancestral lineage so that we don’t pass the burden onto the next generation. This allows us all to consciously create the future we want to live in, with fewer constraints and more possibilities.

Accessing Our Ancestral Nervous System

We are still living in the after-effects of traumas that occurred in previous generations. Many of our ancestors lived through wars, conflicts, famine, forced migration, and oppression of many kinds.

Often we do not have a felt sense of how these traumas still live inside us and how they influence our health and relationships in the present day. People may think; “Oh, that happened with my parents, my grandparents, and my great grandparents and does not affect me.”

In the upcoming course we will explore how to connect with the information that resides in your ancestral nervous system. Through our individual and group practices we can begin to uncover the hidden traumas and innate resilience of our ancestral lineages.

As you connect to your roots, you may feel a higher, subtle awareness of an innate connection with those who have come before us and with our planet.

The Power of the Collective Group Field

The nature of Ancestral Trauma calls us to work in groups, even if part of us wants to resist. By working together, a collective strength emerges that acts as a powerful accelerator for healing and growth. This provides the opportunity to actualize healing at the deepest levels of our being.

The individual and the collective work together and support each other to magnify what we can do individually.

Creating safe healing communities and working with this collective group field brings movement into parts that have been frozen, possibly for decades or our entire life.

“I loved my experience in Thomas’ course sessions. So many wisdom gems to sit on and digest. I really loved witnessing him work with live students. And the breakout groups! I got so much from sharing and presencing with others.”

BONUS #4

Video Teachings from the Conscious Healing Course and Principles of Collective Trauma Healing

These video teachings from the Conscious Healing Course and Principles of Collective Trauma Healing are an important addition to your healing resources toolkit.

Video Teaching 1: Cultivating Space

It’s essential to create the right environment for healing, and space is an essential component. Cultivating space allows us to contemplate, digest, detox, and bring awareness to address and heal collective trauma.

Video Teaching 2: Bringing Space, Energy, and Structure into Alignment

When our inside and our outside don’t feel fully synchronized, it’s hard to embody our purpose; we feel we have more potential than the way we live our life. This is why it’s important to bring space, energy, and structure into alignment.

Video Teaching 3: Training and Integrating the Scanner Function of Our Nervous System

Being together is the prerequisite for subtle capacities like presence. Presence creates synchronization and attunement. When a group tunes in with each other, they become a tremendous healing resource.

Video Teaching 4: Moving from Numbness and Absence to Presence

When we are hurt or traumatized, inner coherence is fragmented. Numbness is one symptom of trauma. Presencing and relational awareness are the remedies that create space for collective healing.

BONUS #5

Two Guided Meditations

Guided Meditation 1: The 3-Sync Practice

The 3-Sync is a foundational meditation in Thomas’ teachings, referring to the synchronization of mind, body, and emotions.

Guided Meditation 2: The Soul Meditation

In this powerful meditation, Thomas guides us to return to our breath and connect with our soul.
